Tiger Roll-s back the years on Day Two of Cheltenham

IT was a welcome return to form for back-to-back Grand National winner Tiger Roll on day two of the Cheltenham Festival as he claimed a third Glenfarclas Cross Country Chase crown in scintillating fashion.

Tipperary's Rachael Blackmore picked up where she let off on her history- making Champion Hurdle win on Tuesday by claiming the Ballymore Novices' Hurdle on 6-4F Bob Olinger for trainer Henry de Bromhead.

Willie Mullins had his first winner of the day on overwhelming 1-4F favourite Monkfish in the Brown Advisory Novices' Chase, but Henry de Bromhead struck again in the Betway Queen Mother Champion Chase, as Put The Kettle On continued her love affair with Cheltenham, edging out Nube Negra and pre-race favourite Chacun Pour Soi.

Day Three begins today at 1.20 p.m with the Marsh Novices' Chase, with the big race of the day, the Paddy Power Stayers' Hurdle, at 3.05 p.m.
