JOAN COLLINS, WESTPORT

Joan Collins, Mount Merrion, Dublin, and Westport.

Joan will be deeply missed by her loving husband of 50 years, John Dowling, as well as her daughters Siobhán and Aoife, her brother Adrian (Gary), sister-in-law Eileen, her grandchildren Ellie, Luke and Lelia, as well as her many relatives and friends. Predeceased by sister Constance. A lover of music and travel, Joan’s work with the civil service took her to Paris, Geneva and Africa before she embarked on a successful career of many decades at RTÉ.

In compliance with Covid restrictions a small funeral service, for family only, will take place on Tuesday afternoon (March 30) at 3.45 p.m. It can be viewed here; https://vimeo.com/event/139693.

EILEEN MACEVILLY, WESTPORT

Eileen MacEvilly (née Hickey), San Francisco, U.S.A., Westport, and late of Millstreet, Co. Cork.

Predeceased by her husband Vincent. Past President of the San Francisco Rose Society.

Sadly missed by her loving son Stephen, brothers Connie (Mallow, Cork) Donal (Dublin), sister Finola (Melbourne, Australia), nephews Sean (Mallow, Cork), Patrick and John (New York), niece Eileen (Dublin) Deirdre (New York), relatives and friends.

Funeral Mass in St. Mary's Church, Westport on Tuesday, March 30, at 12.30 p.m. with burial afterwards in Aughavale Cemetery. Mass will be live streamed on www.churchtv.ie/westport.

May the souls of the deceased rest in peace.
