LIAM GALLAGHER, ACHILL

Liam Gallagher, Newtown, Keel, Achill, and formerly of Millstreet Town, Co. Cork.

Deeply regretted by his brothers Tony and Donie, families and friends.

Mass took place today (Monday) in St. Patrick's Church, Pollagh, Keel, Achill, with burial afterwards in Slievemore Cemetery.

ROSIE SWEENEY, CLAREMORRIS

Rosie Sweeney (née Prendergast), Dalton Street, Claremorris.

Predeceased by her husband Vincent, infant daughter Teresa and granddaughter Fiona.

Rosie will be dearly missed and loved by her son Jarlath and daughters Martina Cribben (Dublin) and Ita Dockery (Athlone), daughter-in-law Orla, sons-in-law John and James, grandchildren Ivor, Niall, Jamie, Conor, Fionnán and Oisín and great-grandchildren Johnny and Xander.

Funeral Mass took place in St. Colman's Church, Claremorris, followed by burial afterwards in St. Colman's Cemetery.

NORA CONWAY, BALLYCROY

Nora Conway (née McAndrew), Tallagh, Ballycroy.

Deeply regretted by her loving husband Manus, nieces, nephews, grand-nieces, grand-nephews, relatives, neighbours and a wide circle of friends.

Funeral Mass on Tuesday at 12 noon in the Church of the Holy Family, Ballycroy, followed by burial afterwards to the local cemetery.

MARIE CAWLEY, BALLINA

Marie Cawley (née Nicholson), Circular Road, Ballina.

Predeceased by her beloved husband Paddy, brothers Jim and Tony. Marie, loving mother to Chris, Robbie, Paul, Ann, Lorraine, Marie, Martina, Geraldine and Sharon. Deeply regretted and dearly missed by her loving sons, daughters, brother John, sons-in-law, daughters-in-law, grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nephews, nieces, relatives and friends.

Funeral cortège will arrive to St. Muredach’s Cathedral, Ballina on Wednesday for Mass of the Resurrection at 1.30 p.m. with burial afterwards in Leigue Cemetery. Funeral Mass will be live streamed at www.ballinaparish.org.

DERMOT HOLMES, FOXFORD

Dermot Holmes, Coolcronan, Foxford.

Dermot predeceased recently by his parents Bill and Peggy.

Dermot will be dearly and lovingly missed by his wife Teresa and family Martin, Emma, Katie, Leanne, his brothers Michael and Billy, his sister Caroline, his adored grandchildren Kyle, Tyler, Jamie, Alannah and Darragh, sisters in-law Frances and Diane, brothers in-law Willie, John, Aidan and Liam, his uncle Tony and aunts Frances and Bridie, son's in-law Shane and Kevin and daughter in-law Stacey, nephews, nieces, in-laws, relatives, neighbours, work colleagues and a large circle of friends.

Funeral cortège will leave his residence on Wednesday morning at 10.30 a.m. via Lisaniska to The Church of Christ The King, Knockmore, arriving for Funeral Mass at 11 a.m., with the funeral proceeding to Ballinahaglish Cemetery.

John (Johnnie) Gibbons, Tallaght, Dublin, and formerly of Westport.

John (Johnnie), beloved husband of Mary (nee Gill) and much-loved father of John. Deeply regretted and sadly missed by his loving family, brother Chris, sister Mary, daughter-in-law Anne, nephews, nieces, adored granddaughter Hannah, relatives, neighbours and friends.

John’s funeral cortège is expected to leave his residence on Wednesday morning, March 31, at 9:40 a.m. and will then proceed to St. Dominic’s Church, Millbrook Lawns.
