Baked beans on walkway has east Mayo dog owners concerned
A DEPOSIT of baked beans on a public walkway has dog owners concerned in an east Mayo town.
The beans have appeared on a popular walking route in Kiltimagh for a second time.
In February, Mayo SPCA issued a warning to dog owners in the area about a threat to lay poison on side roads in response to fouling in public places.
Pictures of baked beans on the Bohola Road walkway in Kiltimagh were shared on social media around the same time, raising concern among pet owners that they could contain poison.
Now, more beans have appeared on the route again today (Tuesday).
Mayo SPCA have shared the photos on their Facebook page and have advised people to be 'very careful' if walking your dog in the area.
