This year's Claremorris Agricultural Show has been cancelled

It has been announced that due to the ongoing situation regarding Covid-19, this year's Claremorris Agricultural Show has been cancelled.

It's the second year in a row that the event, due to take place over the August bank holiday weekend, will not go ahead.

The show celebrated its 100th anniversary in 2018 and is regarded as one of the leading events of its type in the west and northwest.

Show officers and committee members wish to thank all who have supported the event down through the years, including stewards, sponsors, exhibitors, local political representatives and of course the general public, and urge all to stay safe at this difficult time. They are looking forward to welcoming everyone back next year.

The 102nd Claremorris Agricultural Show has been fixed for the August bank holiday weekend next year, specifically Sunday, July 31, 2022.
