Monday's Covid update from Mayo University Hospital

One confirmed case and two suspected Covid cases are in care at Mayo University Hospital.

That's according to the latest statistics compiled at the centre by the HSE at 8 p.m. yesterday.

The ICU at the Castlebar facility remains Covid-free.

There are three vacant general beds and two vacant critical care beds.

Nationally, the number of positive cases in hospital is down to 186 - up by 10 - and the number of patients in critical care units has fallen by three to 46 in the past 24 hours.

A total of 18 hospitals have less than 10 confirmed cases while three others have no cases.

Separately, 12 patients are awaiting beds at Mayo University Hospital today.
