Mayo University Hospital without a positive Covid case for third consecutive day

Mayo University Hospital is without a confirmed Covid-cases for the third consecutive day.

That's despite the fact that 119 cases have been recorded in the community over the past two weeks.

According to the latest report compiled by the HSE at the facility at 8 p.m. yesterday, there is still one suspected case in care at the Castlebar centre.

The ICU in the hospital remains Covid-free.

The centre has four vacant general beds and no vacant critical care beds.
