Saturday's Covid report from Mayo University Hospital

Mayo University Hospital has one confirmed Covid case in care today.

That's according to the latest report from the facility recorded by the HSE at 8 p.m. yesterday.

It follows four consecutive days in which the centre did not have a positive case.

There is one suspected case in care at the Castlebar centre - a decrease of one.

The ICU at the hospital remains Covid-free.

The centre has nine vacant general beds and no vacant critical care beds.

Mayo's 14-day incidence rate in the community is 98.5 after recording 113 new cases in the past two weeks.
