Wednesday's Covid report from Mayo University Hospital

Three confirmed Covid cases are in care at Mayo University Hospital today, no change in four days.

That's according to the latest report from the facility compiled at 8 p.m. yesterday.

Nationally, there are still 132 positive cases in hospital care, a decrease of three.

Galway University Hospital has six cases, no change, and Sligo University Hospital has one, a drop of one.

There is one suspected case at the Castlebar centre, down by two, and the intensive care unit remains Covid-free.

There is one vacant general beds at MUH and one vacant critical care bed.

Meanwhile, 'less than five' new cases were registered in the community in Mayo yesterday - bringing the total to 68 in the past two weeks.

It leaves the county with a 14-day incidence rate of 52.1 - above the national average of 134.1.
