Launch of shopfront grant scheme in Castlebar district is welcomed
A new Shopfront Grant Scheme is now available to business across the Castlebar Municipal District.
This scheme has been launched following a proposal by Councillor Donna Sheridan.
Councillor Sheridan welcomed today's launch of the initiative.
She said: "I am delighted that the scheme is now in operation, businesses can apply for grant funding of up to 50% of approved works to a maximum of €1,000.
"With many shops reopening last week it is vital we do everything we can to support of local businesses."
This scheme is available to businesses in Belcarra, Balla, Breaffy, Ballyvary, Castlebar, Turlough and Lahardaun.
