Mayo authority reveals latest list of roads it's taking in charge

Seven roads in the Castlebar Municipal District have been approved to be taken in charge.

The sections of road, which vary in length from 70 to 530 metres, are in the following areas: Levallinree, Park; Cullentragh, Ballintubber; Deerpark Lower; Belcarra; Brooklands, Newport Road, Castlebar; Auray Place/Garryduff Court, Newport Road, Castlebar; Tawnagh Beg, Straide; Golden Mile Industrial Estate, Castlebar; and at Lahardaun.

On Auray Place, Councillor Ger Deere said he has received representations for double yellow lines on the right hand side.
