The following are today's Mayo death and funeral notices.

KATHLEEN MCDERMOTT, CARRACASTLE

Kathleen McDermott (née Cafferky), Castleduff, Carracastle and formerly of Culgarriff, Kilmovee.

Predeceased by her husband Tom.

Sadly missed and remembered with love by her family, son John, daughters Geraldine, Martina and Bernadette, her ten grandchildren and four great-grandchildren, sons-in-law, daughter-in-law, nephews, nieces, relatives, neighbours and friends.

Kathleen will be removed from The Sharkey Funeral Home, Ballaghaderreen on Wednesday at 10.15 a.m. to the Church of the Immaculate Conception, Kilmovee, arriving for Mass of the Resurrection at 11 a.m., followed by interment in Naomh Mobhí Cemetery.

For those who would have liked to attend the Mass but cannot due to the current restrictions, Kathleen’s Mass will be streamed on Sharkey Funeral Directors Facebook page

MICHAEL MALLEE, MAYO

Michael, France, Aughawillan, Leitrim and formerly Mayo.

Sadly missed by his loving and broken-hearted wife Chris, stepdaughters Claire and Stacey, brothers Ray, Eugene, Jimmy, his sisters Margaret, Carmel, Dolores, Marian and Trisha, sisters-in-law, brothers-in-law, nieces, nephews, extended family, relatives, neighbours and his many friends. Predeceased by his parents Pete and Tilly, brothers John and Marty and his sister Brenda.

Cremation service in France on Friday. A memorial service will be held later in the summer in Ireland.

GERRY BRENNAN, BALLINA

Gerry Brennan, Bother na Habhainn, Rehins Port, Foxford Road, Ballina.

Predeceased by his parents Paddy and Nuala. Gerry, beloved husband of Mary, dear father of Danielle Byrne (Wicklow). Sadly missed by his wife, daughter, brothers Ray (Dublin), Niall, Liam & Keith, sisters Valerie Irwin (Castlebar), Deirdre Fahy (Ballina), Fionnaula O’Callaghan (Galway), grandchildren Skyler and Mórrígan, in-laws, nephews, nieces, relatives and friends.

Funeral cortège will leave McGowan’s Funeral Home, Ballina, on Wednesday at 1 p.m. to arrive to St. Muredach’s Cathedral for Mass of the Resurrection at 1.30 p.m., with burial afterwards in Leigue Cemetery, Ballina. Funeral Mass will be live streamed on at www.ballinaparish.org
