Mayo golfer crowned US Kids Summer Tour champion

BALLYHAUNIS golfer John William Burke has been crowned the Under 12 US Kids Golf North of Ireland Summer Tour champion for 2021.

He sealed the title after a second place finish on Sunday in the final round of the six-week league in Castlerock Golf Club.

John William has played in six different courses over the past six weeks, travelling over 3,000 kilometres to compete.

It's a serious win for John William, for Ballyhaunis GC and for Connacht golf.
