Access road to Mayo lakeside amenity being upgraded

Works have started on improvements to the busy access road to Lough Lannagh car park in Castlebar.

Welcoming the news, local Councillor Ger Deere said: "This is an issue that I raised on a number of occasions and when completed it will make it much safer for all users of the wonderful amenity we have."
