Progress report sought on restoration of Bohea Stone on historic Mayo trail

An update on proposals to restore the Bohea Stone has been sought by Councillor John O'Malley.

The stone dates back 4,500 years and is located on the old Saint Patrick trail outside Westport.

There was supposed to be work to restore it and Councillor O'Malley asked if anything has been done.

He is awaiting a report on the matter.
