€20,125 for two Mayo projects under Museum Exhibitions Scheme

TWO projects in Mayo are to receive funding under the Regional Museum Exhibitions Scheme 2021.

The projects approved are:

Ballinglen Arts Foundation, for the exhibition 'On a North West Shore' (€9,375).

Jackie Clarke Collection/Mayo County Council, for the Jackie Clarke's Civil War collection (€10,750).

Deputy Michael Ring said he is delighted that support is being offered to these exhibitions in Mayo.

“Our local and regional museums are an important cultural resource across Mayo. As society reopens, our museums can again provide a wonderful outlet for people,” he commented.
