Mayo Mental Health manager invited to national GAA committee

Mayo Mental Health Association manager Niall Dunne has recently been nominated by GAA president Larry McCarthy to be part of the GAA National Health & Wellbeing Committee.

A statement from the Mayo Mental Health Association on their Facebook page said it is “a great honour for Niall’s family, his club Parke Keelogues Crimlin LGFA and our own county here in Mayo. Not to mention all the staff and volunteers here in Mayo Mental Health Association who are extremely proud of his appointment.

“Best of luck Niall from all the team here at the Association.”

Some of the areas Niall and the committee, which is chaired by Dr. Janas Harrington, will be focusing on over the next four years will be to deliver and evaluate best practice health and wellbeing policies and programmes across identified priority areas.

He is wished the very best in his new role.
