Plans for outer relief road being progressed for scenic Mayo village

A strategic assessment report has commenced in relation to R345 Cong outer relief road.

It is due to be submitted to the Department of Transport this month.

Also in south Mayo, consultants have been appointed by the Department of Transport to undertake pavement analysis in relation to the R332 Kilmaine to Foxhall road.

A report is expected in July.
