Attempted burglary at Mayo business foiled

AN attempted burglary at a business premises in Castlebar was foiled last night.

McHale Agri, Forest & Garden reported on their social media today that in a break-in last night, their Echo stand containing a substantial range of chainsaws, hedge trimmers, strimmers and leaf blowers, etc., were taken.

However, due to 'outstanding service' provided by Kieran Lavelle of Right Price Alarms and a rapid response by the gardaí at Castlebar station, the attempted burglary was foiled.

The business owners have extended thanks to Mr. Lavelle and the gardaí at the scene.
