Covid-19 testing site at MacHale Park in Castlebar is closed on Sunday

HSE Community Healthcare West has confirmed the Covid-19 Testing Centre at MacHale Park, Castlebar, will not be available for Covid testing on Sunday next. July 11, due to GAA activity.

The venue is hosting the Connacht SFC semi-final between Mayo and Leitrim, to which 3,500 spectators are permitted to attend.

Testing will resume again on Monday, July 12, from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. offering:

1. Walk-in, no appointment necessary Covid-19 testing for those who have NO symptoms.

2. Book appointment via https://covid19test.healthservice.ie/hse-self-referral/

3. Testing service for those who are symptomatic or close contacts of a confirmed case of Covid-19 and who are referred for a Covid-19 test by their GP.
