Six-day high temperature advisory notice issued

Met. Éireann has issued a countrywide high temperature advisory notice for six days.

It is valid from 12 noon today to 12 noon on Friday.

The notice stated: "Continuing very warm until Friday, with day time temperatures into the high twenties and very humid at night with temperatures staying in the mid to high teens.

"For more information check www.gov.ie/summerready."

In a tweet in respect of today's weather, Met. Éireann said the Solar UV index will be 'very high under clear skies'.
