Further fall in Covid numbers in care today at Mayo University Hospital

The number of confirmed Covid-19 cases in care at Mayo University Hospital (MUH) today has fallen by a further by a further four to nine - still the second highest number for a hospital in the country.

No new cases were admitted to the facility over the past 24 hours, according to the latest report compiled by the HSE at the centre at 8 p.m. yesterday.

None of the cases in care at the Castlebar facility were vaccinated.

Letterkenny University Hospital has the highest number of cases in the country with 12, down by three.

There are three cases in Sligo University Hospital, down by one, and seven in Galway University Hospital, up by three.

There is no suspected cases at MUH and none of the confirmed cases are in ICU.
