GAA probe likely over Connacht final tunnel tussle

The GAA will come under pressure to take disciplinary action following a tussle involving Mayo and Galway players in the tunnel at the end of the first half of today's Connacht SFC final at Croke Park.

No comment is likely to be made by the association until an investigation takes place.

Mayo manager James Horan made reference to the incident when he spoke to RTÉ Sport in the aftermath of the encounter won by his charges by 2-14 to 2-8 thanks to a splendid second half display.

He remarked: "After the commotion, it was very, very quiet at half-time."

Footage of the incident was posted on the Twitter page of The Sunday game.
