Memorial walk for Joe Deacy

A MEMORIAL walk for the late Joe Deacy will be held on Sunday, August 15, at 12 midday.

This month marks the fourth anniversary of Joe's death, on August 12, 2017, when he died after receiving fatal injuries while visiting from the UK.

The walk will meet on the N5 at the Kinaffe junction near Swinford and those attending are asked to adhere to social distancing and follow government guidance.

Joe's family continue to fight for answers about his death.

A social media post on the Justice for Joe Deacy Facebook page explained: 'We walk in the hope of justice and the truth.

'We will never stop until we get answers and for those who are yet to be found guilty are left accountable for their actions.'
