HSE publishes latest Covid report from Mayo University Hospital

Fourteen Covid patients are in care today at Mayo University Hospital (MUH).

That's according to the latest statistics compiled by the HSE at the facility at 8 p.m. yesterday.

The report revealed three new cases were admitted to the hospital in the previous 24 hours.

One of the 14 cases is being treated in the intensive care unit.

There are no suspected cases at the Castlebar centre.

The hospital has two vacant general beds and one vacant bed in ICU.

MUH's figures are the fifth highest in the county, behind University Hospital Limerick (18), Sligo University Hospital (17), St. James' Hospital Dublin (15) and Tallaght Hospital Dublin (15).

Galway University Hospital has 13 cases, four of which were registered in the past 24 hours.
