FR. PATRICK JOSEPH NYLAND, BALLYVARY

Rev. Fr PJ Nyland, (Salesian Order of Don Bosco), Crumlin, Co. Dublin, and formerly of Springhill, Ballyvary.

Predeceased by his parents Patrick and Mary, he is deeply regretted by his brothers Tom and Gerry (Ballyvary), sisters Mary Bell (Castlebar), Teresa (Dublin), Agnes (Castlebar), nephews, nieces, grand-nephews, grand-nieces, cousins, relatives and many many friends as well as by his Brothers and Sisters in Christ in The Salesian community.

Removal from the residence of his brother Gerry (Eircode F23 vw 71) on Sunday at 12:30 p.m. to St. Joseph's Church, Keelogues, for Requiem Mass at 1 o clock.

Funeral afterwards to Straide Cemetery.

MARGARET (MAGGIE) GAVAGHAN, KILLASSER

Margaret (Maggie) Gavaghan (née Dunne), Knox, Killasser, Swinford.

Predeceased by her husband John, son Padraig, brothers John, Peter, Eddie, Vincent and Joe, sisters, Teresa, Helen-Mary, Phil and granddaughter Sharon, she is deeply regretted by her daughters Carmel Kearney, Claremorris, Patricia Gorham, Headford, Imelda Conway, Claremorris and Ann Convey, Swinford, in-laws, grandchildren, Annmarie, Lisa, Kieran, John, Ashling, Louise, Paul, Alan, Colin, Darren, Stephen and Adrian, great-grandchildren Stephen, Jack and Kate, sisters Bridie, Bernie and Annie-Kate, brothers Kieran and Benedict, large family circle and friends.

Margaret's Funeral Mass will take place at 2 o'clock on Sunday in the Church of the Most Holy Rosary, Kilmactigue, Co. Sligo, prior to burial in Kilmactigue Cemetery.

DONAL GILBOY, BELMULLET

Predeceased by his parents Danny and Mary (née Howard), he will be sadly missed by his heartbroken family – brothers Michael (Annagh) and Pat (Annagh), sisters Ellen (Annagh) and Barbara Reid (Newport), brother in law Joe, niece Grace, nephew George, uncles Tony (Cavan) and Peter (Reading, England), aunt Barbara (Pennsylvania, U.S.A.), aunts in law, uncle in law, relatives, neighbours and many friends.

Remains will depart from McDonnell’s Funeral Home, Belmullet, on Saturday morning at 11.30, arriving at the Church of the Holy Family, Carne, Belmullet, for Funeral Mass at 12 o'clock, followed by burial in Tarmoncarra Cemetery.

LENA GALLAGHER, BELLACORRICK

Lena Gallagher (née McLoughlin), Corvoderra, Bellacorrick, Ballina, peacefully in her 97th year.

Wife of the late Patrick, she is deeply mourned by her loving family: John (Corvoderra), Vincent (Crossmolina), Kathleen (Nee Weir, Rehins), Teresa (Hunt, Bunninadden), Christy (Ardagh), sisters in law, daughters in law, sons in law, her 14 grandchildren, great-grandchild, nephews, nieces, relatives and friends.

Requiem Mass on Friday at 12 noon in the Church of Our Lady of Mercy Eskeragh. Burial afterwards in Crossmolina Cemetery.

MICHAEL LYDON, TOURMAKEADY

Michael Lydon, Killateeaun, Tourmakeady.

Predeceased by his brother John (Louisburgh) and his sister Mary Dolan (Churchfield), he is survived by his brothers Paddy (Killateeaun) and Seamus (Annaghdown), sister Nora Gilmore (Ballyheane), sister in law, nieces, nephews, relatives, neighbours and friends

Removal from St. Mary’s Funeral Home, Tourmakeady, this evening (Thursday) at 8 p.m with Funeral Mass on Friday at 12.00 noon in St. Mary’s Church, Tourmakeady.

Burial will take place afterwards in the Churchfield Cemetery.

DAPHNE REILLY, KILTIMAGH

Daphne Reilly, Cordarragh Drive, Kiltimagh.

Predeceased by her beloved husband Brendan, she is deeply mourned by her son Brendan, daughters Marie, Aisling, Shona, her sister Carole and her fourteen grandchildren.

Requiem Mass will take place on Friday in The Church of the Holy Family, Kiltimagh, at 12 o’clock, followed by burial in Kiltimagh Cemetery.

TERRY BROWN, LOUISBURGH

Terry Brown, Bloomfield, Belfast, Co. Antrim, and Louisburgh.

Predeceased by his wife Denny, he is sadly missed with fond memories by the extended Brown family, and his many friends in Belfast and Louisburgh.

A private funeral has taken place.

Terry was a regular angler in the Louisburgh area for over 35 years.

In 1991 when his beloved wife Denny died his trips became more frequent where he fished the Bunowen and Carrowniskey rivers.

He was an annual at the Louisburgh Festival in the 1990s and Féile Cois Cuain. He will be missed around Louisburgh where he shared his wit, story telling, and song.
