How Mayo's weekend weather is looking

Continuing unsettled through the weekend with drier conditions developing early next week.

That's the verdict from Met. Éireann.

It will be cloudy tomorrow with outbreaks of rain and drizzle throughout the day. Hill and coastal fog will also develop.

Highest temperatures of just 15 to 18 degrees in light to moderate southeasterly winds.

Saturday night: Cloudy with patchy outbreaks of rain and drizzle in most areas overnight though there will be some dry intervals.

Lowest temperatures ranging from 10 degrees in the north to 14 or 15 degrees in the south. East to southeast winds becoming cyclonic variable overnight will be mainly light over land, but moderate to fresh along southern and southeastern coasts.

Sunday: Mostly cloudy to begin on Sunday with patchy outbreaks of rain and drizzle. It will brighten up as the day goes on with sunny spells and scattered showers, becoming isolated by evening. Highest temperatures of 17 to 21 degrees.

Light variable breezes becoming light to moderate northwesterly and increasing fresh to strong on southwestern coasts later.

Sunday night: Many areas will become dry overnight though scattered showers will feed in, in a mostly moderate northwesterly airflow, primarily affecting Atlantic and northern coastal counties. Largely dry elsewhere with clear spells. Lowest temperatures of 9 to 12 degrees.
