Swimming restrictions lifted at Lough Lannagh and three Mayo beaches

Mayo County Council has advised the public that the temporary do not swim notice in place at Ballycastle, Portacloy, Lough Lannagh in Castlebar and Pontoon beaches have been removed following receipt of satisfactory results.

Mr. Martin Keating, Head of Environment, Climate Change and Agriculture welcomed the restoration of bathing at these beaches in advance of the weekend.
