Lineups confirmed for Mayo League Under 21 finals

By Stuart Tynan

Ballyheane, Conn Rangers, Swinford and Straide & Foxford all booked their places in the Under 21 League finals on a night of thrilling drama in the Mayo Football League.

Conn Rangers stunned Manulla in Carramore as they came from behind to book their place in the Division 1 final. Goals from Conor Flynn (pen), Lorcan Towey, Evan Reape and Eoin Prendergast did the damage for the side from Mount Falcon, who finished the game with ten men after their goalkeeper Brian McMahon was sent off for two bookable offence

Ben Edeh proved Ballyheane's main man once again as his first half brace was enough to see off Castlebar Celtic and they will be seen as heavy favourites for the Division 1 title after winning all six of their games in the league stages.

In Division 2, Swinford needed extra time to see off Ballinrobe Town while Nathan Boukioud's first half goal was enough for Straide & Foxford United to see off Killala and book their spot in the final.
