The following are today's Mayo death and funeral notices.

WILLIAM LAVELLE, BELMULLET

William Lavelle (better known as Willie), Ardoone, Belmullet.

Predeceased by his parents Patsy and Bridget, sister Bridie Kirwan, brothers Tom, John and Jim. Beloved husband of Goretti and adored father of Liam, Kieran and Debbie. He will be sadly missed by his heartbroken family, brothers Paddy and Bernie, sister Mary Murray, daughters-in-law Emer and Mary, son-in-law Fergal, his ten devoted grandchildren – Liam, Deirbhle, Ailbhe, Féilim, Mallaidh, Ciarán, Roisín, Maggie, Billy and Hannah, brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nieces, nephews, relatives, neighbours and friends.

Removal from his residence will take place on Saturday evening at 6 p.m. with funeral arriving at the Church of the Holy Family, Carne, Belmullet at 6.30 p.m. A Private Funeral Mass for family only, will take place on Sunday at 2 p.m., followed by burial in Tarmoncarra Cemetery.

Live streaming of the Funeral Mass will be available for viewing at 2 p.m. on Sunday on McDonnell Funeral Directors Facebook page, with all other funeral services available for viewing at 8 p.m. on Sunday evening.

EDDIE COSTELLO, KILKELLY

Eddie Costello, Culmore, Kilkelly.

Predeceased by his parents Ellen and Ned, his brothers Austin and Paddy and sister Rosie. Deeply regretted by his loving wife Bridie, daughter Laura, grandchildren, Ciara, Rowena, Ruairi, sisters Teresa, Annie and Ellen, son-in-law Neil, nieces, nephews, relatives, neighbours and many friends.

Removal on Saturday morning at 10.30 a.m. to St Celsus Church, Kilkelly for Mass at 11 a.m. Burial afterwards in Culmore Cemetery.

JAMES FOR, WESTPORT

James (Jimmy) Foy, Trabawn, Lecanvey, Westport, formerly Newman Road, Erdington, Birmingham, England.

Loving husband of the late Mary-Rose (née Geoghegan) and brother of the late Michael, John, Liam and Paddy. Deeply mourned and sadly missed by his daughter Catherina and her husband Brendan Dowd, grandsons James and Conor, sisters-in-law, nephews, nieces, cousins, carers, and many friends.

Jimmy will repose at home from 6pm on Saturday, August 28, for Family. Removal on Sunday morning at 11 a.m. to arrive St. Patrick's Church, Lecanvey for Mass of the Resurrection at 11.30 a.m., followed by interment in Murrisk Abbey Cemetery

PATRICK MORAN, MULRANNY

Patrick Moran, Poulnacurra, Glanmire, Co. Cork and formerly Mulranny (retired Circuit Court Judge).

Sadly missed by all the Harty family:- Mairead, Len, James, John, Mark, Michael, Margaret, Sheila, Len and all their extended families and the Harty grandchildren, former colleagues on The Bench and in the legal profession, Courts Service and An Garda Síochána, neighbours and a wide circle of friends.

To follow best practices and guidelines and with the support of Patrick's family the funeral will take place privately
