Mayo rated favourites by leading bookies to defeat Tyrone in All-Ireland final

Two leading Irish bookmakers have made Mayo marginal favourites to overcome Tyrone in the All-Ireland SFC final on September 11.

Paddy Power is offering odds of 4/6 for the Connacht champions with the Ulster kingpins on 6/5.

Boyle Sports has Mayo on 8/11 compared to Tyrone on 11/8.

Kerry had been favourites before their exit yesterday at the hands of Tyrone after extra time.

Tyrone star Kieran McGeary is the favourite with both outlets to win the Footballer of the Year award with Mayo's Matthew Ruane, Ryan O'Donoghue and Padraig O'Hora in close contention.
