Death in London of gifted Mayo craftsman

The death has occurred unexpectedly at his home of David Bennett, St. John's Wood, London, and formerly of 70 McHale Road, Castlebar.

A gifted craftsman, David worked in the construction industry for many years.

He will be sadly missed by his daughter Pamela Bennett, his cherished grandchildren, sisters Bridget O'Connor (London), Phil Naughton (Castlebar) and Marie Guthrie (Castlebar), brother Michael Bennett (London), nieces, nephews, cousins, relatives and many friends, to whom sympathy is tendered.

David was predeceased by his parents Patrick and Mary Bennett, wife Linda, son David, sister Ann Duffy, (Castlebar) and brother Paddy Joe Bennett (London).

May his gentle soul rest in peace.

Funeral Mass will be celebrated at the Sacred Heart Church, Quex Road, London NW6, at 12 noon on Wednesday next, September 15, with burial afterwards in Willesden New Cemetery, London NW10.
