Ballyhaunis mourns passing of Marian Glynn

BALLYHAUNIS is in mourning following the sudden death of Marian Glynn from Upper Main Street in the town.

Marian passed on Sunday night at the Mater Hospital in Dublin.

Born in the Marian Year of 1954, like all her neighbours in Upper Main Street, Marian Mulhern, Marian O’Connell and Mary Murren (RIP), Marian was a life-long supporter of Ballyhaunis and Mayo GAA.

Her brother Tommy has been treasurer of the local Ballyhaunis club for many years and a trojan worker for the club.

She will be remembered as a warm, kind and popular lady, whose presence will be deeply missed from the local community.

She is deeply mourned by her brothers Tommy and Eamonn (Ballyhaunis) and sisters Hanoria (USA), Breege and Eithne, both Ballyhaunis, extended family and many friends.

Funeral details will be announced later.

May she rest in eternal peace.
