Mick Mulhern in concert at Claremorris Town Hall Theatre

CLAREMORRIS Town Hall Theatre and Concert Hall presents Mick Mulhern in concert on Friday, September 24.

Mick Mulhern released his debut album, Stormy Horizons, to critical acclaim in 2017. Tony Allen of Irish super-duo Foster and Allen described the recording as 'One of the best Irish albums of the year'.

Mick, from Ballyvary, has a rich voice influenced by country legends like George Jones, Charlie Pride, Merle Haggard, Big Tom and Ray Lynam.

Mick is one of the most requested and played singers on Irish country radio stations. His influence has gone further afield. Recently, John Rex Reeves, a nephew of superstar Jim Reeves, recorded the Michael Commins-penned 'You Waltz So Softly Through My Mind' after hearing Mick sing the song live.

Mick’s recent release is a distinctive version of The Easter Brothers’ 'A Heart That’ll Never Break Again'. Mick says the song meant a lot to him and he was delighted to record it and share it with country and gospel fans everywhere.
