JCI Mayo host 'Better Communication Through Understanding Behaviors'

JCI Mayo invites you to join them for their latest online event on Tuesday evening (October 5) where business coach Louise Lally will look at why we haven’t solved our communication problems, even in a world where so many communication platforms are available.

Communication is complex. It consists of 7% words, 38% tone of voice and 55% body language. Thus communication problems go much deeper than the words spoken.

During this live Facebook workshop, Louise will explain the DISC model that she uses when working with her clients.

This will help give you a better awareness and understanding of people's behaviours and motivators. Understanding other people's why, and how they do what they do, will enable us all to better adapt to those around us and have better communication and relationships in life.

For those unfamiliar with the DISC model, it teaches you a great deal about yourself, indicating your strengths, weaknesses, and opportunities for greatness. Developing self-awareness is a key attribute in personal development, along with healthy relationships, and effective communication skills.

Louise has been working within a people management role for over 12 years. During this time Louise has studied and worked with many different organisations in leadership roles. She always had a passion in understanding what motivates and change and performance in teams and individuals and how behaviours in the workplace impact the success of an organisation.

This online workshop will begin at 8.30 p.m. on Tuesday, October 5, and will be delivered live on JCI Mayo’s Facebook and Twitter pages (@JCIMayo on all platforms).
