The semi-professional footballer, who plays with Hashtag United, landed in Dublin and then took a road trip to Mayo, stopping at Kilbride and Lough Conn before getting to Crossmolina.

He also paid a visit to Conn Rangers FC, where the 22-year-old presented to the clubs Under 12 girls team, winners of the Mayo Trophy recently, as well Gortnor Abbey Secondary School to pose for a photo with Leaving Cert students after rugby training, which you can see on our Facebook page.

Many fans of the popular reality show were happy to find out towards the end of the last series that semi-finalist Toby is half Irish.

The revelation was unveiled in one of the final episodes of series seven as Toby’s Mayo mammy Victoria visited the villa and met his new girlfriend Chloe Burrows.

Toby and Chloe came second in the latest series of Love Island UK.
