Mayo students hold sleep-out in aid of homeless charity

A group of Transition Year students from St. Gerald's College, Castlebar, have held a sleep-out to raise funds for the Simon Community, the charity to end homelessness in Ireland.

Ryan Kerr, Adam Coyne, Finian Berry, Ethan Lyons, Shane Justice, Kian Flanagan, Colin McGuire, Aenghus Cowie, Declan Padden, Karl Jackson, Harry Gaughan and Paul Harff hope to raise €1,000 for the homeless charity.

Teachers Mr. Daly, Mr. Geraghty and Mr. Leddy supervised the students who slept out on the school grounds on the cold and rainy night.
