Irish Paralympic gold medalist gives inspirational talk at Mayo firm's annual conference

Leading Mayo firm Fort Wayne Metals celebrated their annual conference in Castlebar today.

Historically this conference is held off-site but, like last year, the event was virtual.

Employees dialled in from all areas of the campus in Castlebar.

Several colleagues from Fort Wayne Indiana (HQ) also joined on the call, including Fort Wayne Metals owner and CEO, Mr. Scott Glaze.

Fort Wayne Metals were delighted to be joined by Ellen Keane, Paralympic gold medal winner for Ireland in Tokyo earlier this year.

Ellen talked about her journey to winning to success.

Anthony McHale, training and development manager, said: “Ellen gave an inspirational and motivational presentation during our conference.

"All of our team were really excited to have an Paralympic gold medal winner with us for our conference.

"She is an inspiration to us all.

"There was a great buzz around the campus. It’s a day to look back on our successes and an opportunity to look forward to the very bright future for our company.
