Mayo League Masters to be postponed

The Mayo League have announced that the upcoming Masters League is to be postponed until further notice due to “technical issues with the floodlighting infrastructure” at Solar 21 Park.

It comes following an emergency meeting of the League Management Committee last night, who also said in a statement that all midweek matches, including the upcoming Westaro Cup and Under 21 League Division 1 finals this month, are postponed with immediate effect until further notice, as well as any friendly and competitive matches under lights.

Cup finals scheduled for midweek will be played on Sundays where possible. If a cup final cannot be played within the season approved by the FAI, it will be postponed until the start of next season.

New dates for the above will be communicated as soon as possible.

“The Mayo League would like to apologise to all who are affected by this technical problem and will relay updates when available,” the statement concluded.
