ESTHER MARY STEELE, CASTLEBAR

The death has occurred, unexpectedly, at Mayo University Hospital on October 12 of Esther Mary Steele (née Boyce), 3 Garryduff Court, Castlebar and formerly of Crumlin, Dublin.

Daughter of the late John Joseph Boyce and Ann Mary Boyce. She will be sadly missed by her daughter Claire, her adored grandchildren Callum and Johnny, her siblings Mary, Angela, Edel and John, relatives and friends.

May she rest in peace.

LAURENCE FINNERTY, BALLA

Laurence (Larry) Finnerty, Killiney, Co. Dublin and originally of Balla. Died October 13, 2021 (unexpectedly) in Beaumont Hospital.

Survived by Patricia, his much loved and loving wife in the fiftieth year of their marriage, children Francis, Alan and Regina, daughter-in-law Ann and son-in-law Richard, grandchildren and source of great pride and joy Ellen, Alison, Kate, Laoise, Ben, Tommy and Jamie, sisters Mary and Christina, family, friends, neighbours of many years and fellow parishioners of the parish of Our Lady of Good Counsel, Johnstown, Killiney.

Laurence will be reposing at his home on Sunday from 2 p.m. to 6 p.m. Laurence’s Funeral will take place on Monday, October 18, at 10 a.m. in Our Lady of Good Counsel Church, Johnstown/Killiney which can be viewed on https://churchservices.tv/johnstownourlady followed by cremation in Mount Jerome Crematorium at 12 noon which can be viewed on https://www.mountjerome.ie/garden-chapel-service/

SUE MINISH, WESTPORT

Sue Minish (née Eyre), Adracasan, Knappagh, Westport, October 13.

Sadly missed by her daughter Emma Minish O'Toole, son Brendan, grandchildren Orla, Daniel, Emer, Fiona, Arron, Eleanor and Douglas, son-in-law Gerard O'Toole, daughter-in-law Annie Minish, friends and neighbours.

Funeral Service on Saturday at 10.30 a.m. in Holy Trinity Church followed by burial in Knappagh Cemetery.

Carol Rodgers (née Cooke), Cross West, Cross, and Shryne, Co. Meath and London. Peacefully at Friars Lodge Nursing Home.

Predeceased by her beloved husband John, son Sean, daughter in law Linda, sister Grace, brothers Paul and Victor. Deeply regretted by her loving family daughter Sharon, sons Patrick, Wlllie, Patrick’s partner Trish Ahern, Willie’s friend Trish Hughes, granddaughter Tina, her husband Garry and great-grangdaughter Kayleigh, grandchildren Sean, Michelle, Aaron, Sean, Ella, sisters Ellen, Janet, Sheila, brothers Chris, Tom, Sean, Barry (England), brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nephews, nieces, relatives and friends.
