Number of Mayo drink driving cases over holiday period revealed

Gardaí in Mayo have made five drink-driving arrests in the county over the weekend.

Three of the offences occurred in Claremorris with the other two in Westport and Crossmolina.

A garda spokesperson reiterated the force's appeal to motorists to never drive after consuming alcohol.
