Covid-19 tests are by appointment only

HSE Community Healthcare West is advising members of the public requiring a Covid-19 test that all requests for tests are by appointment only via the self-referral online portal, https://covid19test.healthservice.ie/hse-self-referral/, and GP referrals.

They are asking people to book online in advance and an appointment will be allocated at the test site of your choice.

Due to the high numbers of people currently requesting Covid tests, walk-ins cannot be facilitated.

The Covid-19 test centres are: Galway Airport Testing Centre; MacHale Park Testing Centre, Castlebar; and Castlerea Testing Centre, Castlerea.
