Covid tests in Mayo now by appointment only - HSE

HSE Community Healthcare West has advised members of the public requiring a Covid-19 test that all requests fortests are by appointment only via the self-referral online portal and GP referrals.

The protal can be accessed at : https://covid19test.healthservice.ie/hse-self-referral/

A spokesperson said: "We ask you to book on-line in advance and an appointment will be allocated at the test site of your choice.

"Due to the high numbers of people currently requesting Covid tests, walk-ins cannot be facilitated.

"Our Covid-19 test centres are Galway Airport Testing Centre; MacHale Park Testing Centre, Castlebar, Co. Mayo and Castlerea Testing Centre, Castlerea, Co. Roscommon."
