JOHN WALSH, CASTLEBAR

John (Sean) Walsh, Spa Road, Tralee and formerly of Derrycoosh, Castlebar, on December 1, 2021.

Beloved husband of the late Bridget and dear father of Sean, Sharon, Caroline, Elizabeth, Jacqueline and Maria.

Sadly missed by his loving family, grandchildren, son-in-law Padraig, daughter-in-law Nichola, brothers and sisters Tommy, Martin, Pat, Delia, Maureen, Kathleen and Ann, nephews, nieces, relatives and friends.

Reposing at The Gleasure Funeral Home, Tralee on Sunday from 4 to 6 p.m. for family and close friends.

Funeral arriving to St. John’s Church, Tralee on Monday morning at 9.30 a.m. where the Requiem Mass for John (Sean) will be celebrated at 10 a.m. (streamed on www.stjohns.ie). Interment afterwards in Rath Cemetery, Tralee.

JOHN BRENDAN HOWARD, BELMULLET

John Brendan Howard (better known as Brendan), Willesden, London and formerly of Derrycorrib, Barnatra, Belmullet, died peacefully in London on November 17, 2021.

Predeceased by his parents John and Julia, brothers Hughie, Michael and sisters Bridgie Gaughan, Katie Ruddy, Annie Melody, Mary-Julia Loftus, Freddy Gaughan and Josephine Walsh. Beloved husband of Bríd and dear father of Siobhán, Teresa, Brìghde and John Brendan. He will be sadly missed by his heartbroken family, brother Tommy, sons in law Stephen, Scott and Ian and grandchildren Freya, James, Laura, Martha, Leo, ĺde, Mary, Art, his nieces, nephews, relatives, neighbours and his wide circle of friends.

Received into the Church of Our Lady of Lourdes, Glencastle, Bunnahowen, Belmullet on Tuesday at 6 p.m. Requiem Mass will take place on Wednesday at 12 noon followed by burial in the Glencastle New Cemetery. Live streaming of the Funeral Mass is available for viewing at 12 noon on Wednesday with all other funeral services available for viewing after 9 p.m. on Wednesday evening.

TOM BARRETT, BANGOR ERRIS

Tom Barrett, November 29, 2021, Clondalkin and formerly Mount Jubilee, Bangor Erris. Peacefully at Mayo University Hospital.

Beloved husband of the late Grace and much loved father of Thomas and the late Anthony and Ann. Tom will be sadly missed and forever remembered by his loving son, daughter in law Rowena, son in law Con, grandchildren Martin, Glenn, David, Charlotte, Thomas and Louise, brothers Michael and Tony, nieces, nephews and extended family and friends.

Beloved husband of Alice (née Lynskey) and dear father of Mary Gilboy (Corclough West), Philomena Moran (Glenamoy), Paul Hefferon (Muing), Martina Hefferon Duffy (Castlebar), Angela Hefferon (Aughalasheen), Grace Hegarty (Crossmolina), Margaret Walker (Glosh), Peter Hefferon (Crossmolina), Eilish Padden (Aughleam), Joe Hefferon (Muing), Bernie Padden (Ardmore), Carol Corduff (Muing), Claire Hefferon (Crossmolina) and Padraig Hefferon (Muing). He will be sadly missed by his heartbroken family, his daughters and sons-in-law, grandchildren and great-grandchildren, brothers Martin Hefferon (Muing), Bertie Hefferon (Muing) and Desmond Hefferon (Church Road, Belmullet), sisters Una Philips (Nottingham) and May Gaughan (Birmingham), nieces, nephews, relatives, neighbours and many friends.

MARY MCKEOWN, WESTPORT

Mary McKeown, St. Mary's Crescent, Westport. Peacefully in the care of The Mayo Hospice surrounded by her family.

Predeceased by her parents David and Monica. Mary will be sadly missed and deeply regretted by her loving family John (Munich), Paula (Devon), Clare (Westport) Eamon (Westport), David (Belfast), Ciaran (London), Ruth (Westport), Conor (Westport) Brendan (Louisburgh), nephew Nathan (Australia), aunt Mary Coffey (Canada), uncle Conor Duffy (Drogheda), brothers-in-law Malcolm, Seamus and Alan, sisters-in-law Monika, Isabella, Sinead, Irene, Áine and Yvonne, nephews, nieces, cousins, relatives, neighbours and a wide circle of friends.
