Michael Battle, Killerr, Ballintubber, Co Roscommon and formerly of Glann and Dublin. (retired Dept. of Social Protection and VHI). December 3rd, 2021; (Peacefully), at Roscommon University Hospital.

Beloved husband of Anne (née Naughton). He will be greatly missed by his wife, nephews, nieces, grand-nephews, grand-nieces, brothers-in-law, sister-in-law, good neighbours and many friends.

May he rest in peace.

Reposing at Smyth’s Funeral Home, Roscommon on Tuesday evening from 4.30 o’c until 5.30 o’c followed by removal to St Bride’s Church, Ballintubber arriving for Mass of the Resurrection at 6.30 o’c. Cremation service at Glasnevin Crematorium, Dublin on Wednesday at 12 o’c.

ANTHONY WALSH, WESTPORT

Anthony Walsh Junior, Killawullaun, Killawalla, suddenly at his residence.

Deeply regretted by his loving family, Parents Tony and Nora, brothers Seán and Tommy ( Preston) Pat ( Crossmolina) James ( Westport), Sisters Mary Caine ( Newport) Margaret Mulroy ( Swinford), Sisters-in-law Susan, Edel and Katrina, brothers-in-law Tommy and Michael, nieces and nephews, Stephanie, Emer, Caitrina, Jane, James, Niall and Shay, Cousins, relatives, neighbours and a large circle of friends.

Remains reposing in Killawalla Community Centre on Sunday evening from 5 p.m. until 7 p.m.

Funeral Mass on Monday at 12 o'clock in St. Patrick's Church, Killawalla, with burial afterwards in the local cemetery.

BETTY CORR, BALLINROBE

Elizabeth (Betty) Corr, Avoca, Carnalecka, Ballinrobe, and formerly of Walkinstown, Dublin, December 1, 2021. Peacefully at University Hospital Galway.

Predeceased by her beloved partner Christy Wall. Deeply regretted by her loving son Hugh, relatives, neighbours and friends.

Rest in Peace.

Reposing at her residence on Sunday evening from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. Removal from her residence on Monday morning for burial in Rathdrum Cemetery Co. Wicklow arriving at 2 p.m. approx.

TOMMY MOFFITT, CHARLESTOWN

Tommy Moffitt, Lowpark, Charlestown, peacefully, in the tender loving care of the management and staff of St Ann’s Nursing Home.

Predeceased by his parents John and Margaret, sister Kathleen, brother Val and nephew Michael. Sadly missed by his sisters Mary and Attracta, brother-in-law Joe, sister-in-law Phyllis, nephews Fergal and Alan, relatives, neighbours and friends.

Tom Smyth, December 2, 2021, Springfield, Castlebar, unexpectedly at his residence.

Predeceased by his parents Bernie and Eileen. Deeply regretted by his loving family, Brian, Sean and Patricia (New Zealand), sisters-in-law Ann and Dympna, Patricia’s partner Kevin, nephews and nieces, Shane, Liane, Thérése and Simon, Aunt Phyl (UK), relatives, neighbours and a large circle of friends.

Remains reposing at Coady’s Funeral home this Sunday from 1 p.m. with removal at 2.30 p.m. for Funeral Mass at 3 p.m., in the Church of The Holy Rosary, Castlebar.
