P.J. Carey, Swords Co. Dublin and formerly of Glencullen Lower. Serving member of An Garda Síochána) - December 10, 2021, (peacefully) at St. Vincent's Hospital.

Sadly missed by his loving wife Aideen, daughters Ciara and Ashling, brothers David and Brendan, sisters Mary, Evelyn, Geraldine and Noreen, mother-in-law Bridie, brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nephews, nieces, relatives, colleagues in An Garda Síochána and a large circle of friends.

Reposing at Rocks Funeral Home, Swords on Sunday from 2 p.m. to 3 p.m. Removal on Monday morning to St. Colmcille's Church, Swords arriving for 10 a.m. Mass followed by funeral to Donabate Cemetery. Mary Waters (nee Kelly), Bohernasup, Ballina and formerly of Castlebar St., Westport.

Predeceased by her beloved husband Eamon, daughter Irene, son Eamon jr., brothers Liam and Michéal. Mary is deeply regretted and dearly missed by her loving daughters and sons, Mary, Antoinette, Eimear, Tony and Raymond, sister Nancy O'Boyle, sons-in-law Kieran Wynne, Paul Whelan and Bill Farrell, grandchildren Ryan, Sean, Sarah and Lily, nephews, nieces, relatives, neighbours and friends.

Mary will repose at Mcgowan's Funeral Home, Ballina on Sunday evening from 4.30 p.m. until 6 p.m. Mass of the Resurrection will take place on Monday morning at 11.30 a.m. in St. Muredach's Cathedral, Ballina for the repose of the soul's of Mary and her recently deceased son Eamon Jnr., with their burial afterwards in Leigue Cemetery. The death has occurred of P.J. Maloney, Ballinagran, Balla. Suddenly at his home.

Predeceased by his loving wife Bridie. Deeply regretted by his daughter Mari (U.K.), sons Michael and Colm (New Zealand), sisters Agnes (Kiltimagh), Philomena (Artane, Dublin), daughters-in-law Nessa and Susan, son-in-law Rob, grandchildren Áine, Finn and Cera. Sadly missed by his sisters-in-law, brother-in-law, nieces, nephews, relatives, friends and great neighbours.

Gerry McNulty, Rehins, Ballina. Peacefully surrounded by his loving family, following a short illness.

SIMON RUTLEDGE, WESTPORT

Simon Rutledge, Treasure Trove, Bridge Street, Westport and Quay Road, Westport, December 9, 2021, peacefully, in the tender care of Mayo Hospice, Castlebar, surrounded by his family, after a short illness.

Formerly of the Department of Defence. Simon was the beloved husband of Lily and the proud father of Emer. He will be sadly missed and always remembered by his wife, daughter, son-in-law Johnny, grandchildren Anna, Conn and Róisín, brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law. Simon was predeceased by his parents William and Molly.

Requiem Mass will be held for Simon on Saturday at St. Mary’s Church, Westport at 11 a.m. with burial afterwards in Murrisk Cemetery, Westport.
