Fall in number of Mayo hospitalised Covid cases

The number of Covid cases in care at Mayo University Hospital today is 13.

That a fall of two since last Friday, December 17.

According to the latest HSE data, it is the 12th highest in the country.

Tallaght Hospital has the highest number with 36.

There are 17 cases at Galway University Hospital and four in Sligo.

Two new cases were admitted to the Castlebar facility yesterday and there are three Covid patients in ICU.

The Mayo hospital has seven vacant general beds and no vacant ICU beds.

Meanwhle, Mayo has the lowest seven-day incidence rate in the country of 354.0.
