Plans for new county town apartments are updated

A planning application lodged to Mayo County Council for the construction of a number of one-bedroom apartments has been altered at Quinn's Row, Westport Road, Castlebar.

Castlebar-based AP Building Contractors have updated the application to one one-bedroom, one two-bedroom and two studio apartments, with bin storage and all associated site development works.

The HSE has submitted a planning application for the construction of a single-storey dwelling in Knockaphunta, Castlebar.

The development will consist of a new site entrance with gate, car parking and all associated site works and services and landscaping.

Ontower Ireland has submitted a planning application to Mayo County Council for the retention of an existing telecommunications support structure in Carrowkeel, Manulla.

The application was received on December 2 and involved all associated ground equipment cabinets and security fence.

In addition, a planning application by the same company for retention of an existing structure in Dooleague, Islandeady, with all associated ground equipment cabinets and security fence, has been granted.

Meanwhile, Elverys Sports have requested permission to install a solar panel to the roof of their warehouse/office building on the Moneen Road, together with all associated site works.

The application was received on December 1.
