North West SPCA issue urgent appeal for homes for animals

THE North West SPCA in Ballina have issued an urgent appeal for help.

The organisation has found itself at 'bursting point' with the numbers of animals coming into their care.

They urgently need forever and foster homes, volunteers and transport.

In an appeal on social media, they explained: 'We cannot take more animals into our care when we have nowhere for them to go so. Until we can change these circumstances we will have to say no to any requests for help from the general public.

'We have many cats and many dogs needing foster and/or forever homes so we need to place them before we can add more. This is the last thing we want to do but we have no choice.'

Offers of help can be made through their Facebook page: https://www.facebook.com/BallinaNWSPCA/.
