JAMES BRANNICK, HOLLYMOUNT

James (Seamus) Brannick, Clooneen, Hollymount. Seamus, passed away peacefully, surrounded by his loving family, at Mayo Hospice, Castlebar, with the support of the wonderful staff.

Predeceased by his infant son Cyril James, sister Theresa, brother Laurence. Fondly remembered and missed by his loving wife Phyllis, cherished and beloved dad of Paraic, Dara, Blathnaid, Oisin and Bhrein. Deeply regretted by his daughters-in-law, son-in-law, grandchildren, Andrea, Sara, Sean, Siun, Aoibh, Freya, Jamie, Chloe and Sofia. Sadly missed by his brothers and sisters, nieces and nephews, extended family and friends.

Reposing at Gilligan’s Funeral Home Market Square, Claremorris (F12YP74), on Monday evening from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. (walk through only, no hand shaking please, face masks to be worn), with private removal afterwards to his home. Seamus’s remains will leave his home in Clooneen for Funeral Mass at 1 p.m. on Tuesday in Church of The Immaculate Conception, Roundfort (via Anfield) with burial afterwards in Roundfort Cemetery, Hollymount. Seamus’s Funeral Mass will be live streamed on Roundfort, Robeen, Carras Facebook page.

JAMES GERARD FADIAN, ACHILL

The death has occurred of James Gerard Fadian, better known as Gerry, in his 90th year, at his home at High Park House, Crumpaun, Keel, Achill, on January 9, 2022, peacefully, surrounded by his family.

He will be sadly missed by his loving wife Bernadette, sons, Tommy and John, daughters, Mary and Ann, son-in-law Patrick, daughters-in-law, Mary and Catherine, grandchilldren, Shauna, Helena, Megan, Denise, Niamh, Caitriona,Nicole, Johnathan, Gerard and Patrick, great-granddaughter Lily May, sisters-in-law, Ellen and Eileen Fadian, and Teresa Gallagher, nieces, nephews, relatives and a large circle of friends.

Reposing at Lavelle's Funeral Home Cashel, Achill, on Monday evening from 4 o'clock until 6 o'clock. Removal from his home on Tuesday morning to Church of the Assumption, Dookinella, for funeral Mass at 11.30 o'clock followed by burial in Slievemore Cemetery.

KEVIN FAHEY, SWINFORD

Kevin Fahey, Derryronane, Swinford.

Predeceased by his brother Raymond (Ray) R.I.P. Deeply regretted by his loving wife Deirdre, daughter Jennifer, brother James, sisters-in-law, Veronica and Mary, nieces, nephews, family circle, neighbours, and many friends.

Reposing in Campbell's Funeral Home, Swinford on Monday from 5 p.m. until 8 p.m. Kevin's Funeral Mass will take place on Tuesday, at 12 noon in the Church of Our Lady Help of Christians, Swinford, prior to burial in Kilconduff Cemetery. Family flowers only please. Donations if desired to the Mayo Hospice, Castlebar.

John Francis (Frank) Foody, Cloonkee, Ardagh and late of Fenian Row, Ballina.

Predeceased by his parents James and Veronica Foody (Fenian Row). Deeply regretted and dearly missed by his loving sons and daughter John, David and Maria, his four grandchildren, Keane, Ryan, Dylan and Isabel, his brothers and sisters, in-laws, nephews, nieces, relatives, neighbours and friends.

Reposing at McGowan’s funeral home, Ballina on Monday evening from 6 p.m. until 7 p.m. Funeral cortege will arrive to St. Muredach’s Cathedral, Ballina on Tuesday morning for Mass of the Resurrection at 11.30 a.m. with burial afterwards in Leigue Cemetery, Ballina. Funeral Mass will be live streamed at www.ballinaparish.org

BEATRICE PREISSLER, KILTIMAGH

Beatrice (Bea) Preissler (née Shannon) Chicago and formerly of Greyfield, Kiltimagh, peacefully after a short illness surrounded by her loving family.

Predeceased by her parents Patrick (Corbit) and Mary Anne Shannon Kiltimagh, her husband Steven, daughters Gloria and Renee, son Paul Gerard, brothers Tony Shannon Chicago, Jack Shannon and PJ Shannon Kiltimagh, sisters Maura Kiltimagh, Kathleen, Annie May and Pauline Chicago.

Sadly missed and remembered with love by her sons Steven, David, John and Kevin , daughters Anna, Mary and Joanna, Brother Martin Shannon Longford, sisters Cora Regina and Margaret Chicago, her adorable grandchildren and her great-grandchildren, her sons-in-law and daughters-in-law, her sisters-in-law Tess and Nancy Shannon Kiltimagh and Betty Shannon Longford, her extended family in Kiltimagh, Longford and Chicago and her wide circle of friends on both sides of the Atlantic.

BINA WALDRON, BALLYHAUNIS

Bina Waldron (née Kelly), Bunninadden, Sligo formerly of Woodpark, Ballyhaunis. Peacefully in the home of her daughter and son-in-law, surrounded by her loving family on Saturday, January 8.

Predeceased by her husband Terence and son James Michael.Sadly missed by her heartbroken family, her sister Sheila Keaveney (USA), daughter Rosemary Lambe (Bray), son Dermot (Ballyhaunis) and daughter Sheila Reynolds (Bunninadden), her sons-in-law, daughter-in-law, grandchildren, nieces, nephews and wonderful neighbours.

Reposing at the home of her daughter and son in law Sheila and Joe Reynolds Deechomade, Bunninadden, Sligo on Monday between the hours of 4 p.m. -7 p.m. Requiem Mass on Tuesday at 12 noon in the church of the Sacred Heart, Bunninadden followed by burial in Ballyhaunis Cemetery.
